*Removal Guideline
Caution: Damage to the vehicle and air suspension system can be incurred if work is carried out in a manner other than specified in the instructions or in a different sequence.
1.To avoid the possibility of short circuits while working with electric components consult your owner’s manual on how to disconnect your battery.
2.Consult your vehicle owner’s manual, service manual, or car dealer for the correct jacking points on your vehicle and for additional care, safety and maintenance instructions. Under no circumstances should any work be completed underneath the vehicle if it is not adequately supported, as serious injuries and death can occur.
1.Set steering to straight ahead.
2.Raise vehicle.
3.Remove the applicable front wheel.
4.Open the hood.
5.Remove the rubber trim as depicted.(picture 1,2)
6.Remove the hvac air intake cover.(picture 3)
7.Unclip the hvac air box.(picture 4)
8.Remove the hvac air box.(picture 5)
9.Disconnect the air line from the strut assembly.(picture 6)
10.Remove the three top strut mount nuts.(picture 7)
11.Disconnect the damping coil.(picture 8)
12.Disconnect the wheel speed sensor.(picture 9)
14.Remove the wire routing harness from the strut body.(picture 10)
15.Loosen and remove the axle nut and separate the axle from the wheel hub.(picture 11,12)
16.Remove the sway bar end link nut.(picture 13)
17.Remove the control arm nut and separate the upper control arm from the spindle assembly.(picture 14)
18.Pull down on the sway bar to separate the sway bar end link from the spindle assembly.(picture 15)
19.Remove the bottom strut mounting bolt.(picture 16)
20.Remove the axle from the wheel hub.(picture 17)
21.Carefully remove the strut assembly.(picture 18)
22.Removal complete.

Installation is in reverse order of air spring removal.
